Yesterday evening, Lagos was lit up to the fullest as Nigerians were treated to a night of music, dance and art at Darey’s Love Like a Movie 3 Naked concert which took place at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island Lagos.
Last week, Grammy award-winning singer Ciara arrived in Nigeria for the highly anticipated concert and she didn’t disappoint as she gave one of the most memorable and mind-blowing performances of the year. While some of the highlights from the concert include Blackky opening the event with his 90s hit, Rosie and nostalgic performances by Stylplus and Wierd MC; Ciara’s performance was undoubtedly the high point of the concert.
The mother of one showed off some Nigerian swagger when she took to the stage with dance queen Kaffy to groove to Olamide’s Shakitibobo and Iyanya’s Kukere. The singer nailed the dance moves so effortlessly that one would have thought she was Nigerian. She then gave an exceptional solo performance to Tekno’s hit song Duro before announcing that she had a big surprise planned.
Ciara then went offstage, only for the crowd to be left gobsmacked as Michael Jackson suddenly appeared to perform his hit Black or White. Of course it wasn’t really the late pop legend, but Ciara dressed up as Michael, and she killed all his signature moves, including the moonwalk.
